Manhattan based graphic designer Cassandra, originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, left her cozy hometown to pursue an ambitious childhood dream of hers – to live and work in NYC as a designer. Now living out her dream, she is constantly setting new goals and reaching for higher achievements.
Not only working full-time as a graphic designer, Cassandra pursues freelance projects, takes continuing education courses yearly at the School of Visual Arts, and attends design talks and seminars in her spare time. Knowing there is always room for growth, she seeks to acquire new skill sets and learn as much as possible whenever she can. Cassandra hopes to one day teach a design course at SVA in the future to help other non-traditional students continue their learning journey.
In her spare, spare time, Cassandra loves logging miles running the NYC streets, sweating to heated hip-hop vinyasa yoga, painting oil & acrylic “masterpieces”, dancing, and randomly venturing out to explore. Always on the go, she is fueled by dark roast coffee, good music, and Haribo gummy bears but likes to wind down with a nice Malbec or bourbon neat.
